El veter\u00e0 pilot comptar\u00e0 amb el suport del jove van Kesteren, de 31 anys, que corre el seu primer Dakar al comandament d&#8217;una versi\u00f3 del Renault Trucks K520, amb el n\u00famero 531; la seva principal missi\u00f3 ser\u00e0 assistir r\u00e0pidament a Van Den Brink quan ho necessiti. Tots dos pilots pertanyen a l&#8217;equip Mammoet Rallysport.
