La compa\u00f1\u00eda, que ha organizado hoy s\u00e1bado 12 de diciembre una jornada de puertas abiertas en su centro de T\u00e0rrega, tiene previsto inaugurar un centro durante la primavera de 2016 en el Far de l&#8217;Empord\u00e0 (Figueres) con el objetivo de dar servicio a una zona estrat\u00e9gica, ubicada muy cerca de la frontera de La Jonquera. MT Trucks naci\u00f3 en 1965 en la capital de l\u2019Urgell como Motor T\u00e0rrega, actuando como concesionario exclusivo de los veh\u00edculos industriales de la marca Barreiros, que ten\u00eda en Madrid una f\u00e1brica de coches y camiones, como el Simca 1.000 o el Dodge Dart.<\/p>\n<p>La jornada de puertas abiertas ha contado con la presencia de la alcaldesa de T\u00e0rrega, Sra. Rosa Maria Perell\u00f3 y del presidente del Consell Comarcal del Urgell, Sr. Salvador Bonjoch.<\/p>\n<p>MT Trucks es la segunda generaci\u00f3n de una empresa familiar que fund\u00f3 ahora hace medio siglo Ramon Roca Sala, tambi\u00e9n fundador de Ros Roca, y Antoni Esteve Casanovas, que proced\u00eda del sector textil de Igualada. Actualmente, dirigen la compa\u00f1\u00eda dos hijos de \u00e9ste \u00faltimo: Antoni y Xavi Esteve Roca. Durante sus 50 a\u00f1os, MT Trucks ha servido a las marcas <strong>Barreiros, Chrysler, Peugeot y Renault Trucks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expansi\u00f3n a partir del a\u00f1o 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A partir del a\u00f1o 2011, Motor T\u00e0rrega inicia un proceso de expansi\u00f3n y pasa a ser un grupo empresarial llamado MT Trucks, adquiriendo talleres existentes en Lleida y la Seu d&#8217;Urgell. Con estas incorporaciones, la firma de T\u00e0rrega ofrece sus servicios de venta y reparaci\u00f3n de camiones Renault Trucks a toda la provincia de Lleida con tres puntos de servicio propios que suman 30.000 metros cuadrados. Para complementarlos, MT Trucks dispone de servicios oficiales en Balaguer e Igualada. Desde 2013, tambi\u00e9n se incorpora al grupo la empresa Auto Bombea SL, dedicada a la venta, alquiler y servicio t\u00e9cnico de carretillas elevadoras Nissan Forklift, con talleres en Lleida e Igualada.<\/p>\n<p>La expansi\u00f3n de MT Trucks le ha permitido <strong>doblar el n\u00famero de trabajadores<\/strong> en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, pasando de las 50 personas del 2011 a las 100 previstas para el 2016. El nuevo centro de Figueres aportar\u00e1 entre 3 y 4 millones de euros a una <strong>facturaci\u00f3n<\/strong> anual que supera los <strong>20 millones de euros.<\/strong> Adem\u00e1s de la venta de camiones, la empresa se dedica a la reparaci\u00f3n de \u00e9stos y a la venta de recambios.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de la ca\u00edda de las ventas de camiones desde 2009 y el descenso del 45% en la cifra de reparaciones, MT Trucks se ha sabido adaptar al nuevo contexto con una gama de veh\u00edculos con precios amplios y competitivos desde los 20.000 hasta los 90.000 euros. Seg\u00fan explica Antoni Esteve, consejero delegado de MT Trucks, <strong>\u201cestamos muy satisfechos de c\u00f3mo hemos podido resistir la crisis y tambi\u00e9n de aportar oportunidades a nuestro territorio: gracias a nuestra actividad, en cinco a\u00f1os habremos doblado el n\u00famero de trabajadores, pasando de 50 personas a un centenar el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda de T\u00e0rrega ha aprovechado las caracter\u00edsticas del tejido empresarial leridano, donde las firmas necesitan cubrir todos los procesos de la cadena alimentaria, para convertirse en un referente en la venta y servicio t\u00e9cnico al sector del transporte por carretera. De hecho, las estad\u00edsticas muestran que en Lleida se han matriculado entre enero y octubre de este a\u00f1o la mitad de veh\u00edculos industriales pesados que en Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>MT Trucks se dedica desde hace 50 a\u00f1os a <strong>la distribuci\u00f3n, la reparaci\u00f3n y el alquiler de veh\u00edculos del sector industrial<\/strong>. Con cuatro centros (T\u00e0rrega, Lleida, La Seu d\u2019Urgell y Figueres), ofrece un servicio integral en este \u00e1mbito.
