La companyia t\u00e9 previst inaugurar un centre la primavera de 2016 al Far de l\u2019Empord\u00e0 <strong>(Figueres)<\/strong> amb l\u2019objectiu de donar servei a una zona estrat\u00e8gica, ubicada molt a prop de la frontera de La Jonquera. MT Trucks va n\u00e9ixer el 1965 a la capital de l\u2019Urgell com a Motor T\u00e0rrega, actuant com a concessionari exclusiu dels vehicles industrials de la marca <strong>Barreiros<\/strong>, que tenia una f\u00e0brica a Madrid de cotxes i camions, com el Simca 1.000 o el Dodge Dart.<\/p>\n<p>MT Trucks \u00e9s la segona\u00a0generaci\u00f3 d\u2019una empresa familiar que va fundar ara fa mig segle Ramon Roca Sala, tamb\u00e9 fundador de Ros Roca, i Antoni Esteve Casanovas, que procedia del sector t\u00e8xtil d\u2019Igualada. Actualment dirigeixen la companyia dos fills d\u2019aquest darrer: Antoni i Xavi Esteve Roca. Durant els seus 50 anys MT Trucks ha servit a les <strong>marques Barreiros, Chrysler, Peugeot i Renault Trucks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Expansi\u00f3 a partir de l\u2019any 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A partir de l\u2019any 2011, Motor T\u00e0rrega inicia un proc\u00e9s d\u2019expansi\u00f3 i passa a ser un grup empresarial anomenat MT Trucks, adquirint tallers existents a <strong>Lleida i la Seu d\u2019Urgell<\/strong>. Amb aquestes incorporacions, la firma de T\u00e0rrega ofereix els seus serveis de venda i reparaci\u00f3 de camions Renault Trucks a tota la prov\u00edncia de Lleida amb tres punts de servei propis que sumen <strong>30.000 metres quadrats<\/strong>. Per complementar-los, MT Trucks disposa de serveis oficials a Balaguer i Igualada. Des de 2013 tamb\u00e9 s\u2019incorpora al grup l\u2019empresa Auto Bomba SL, dedicada a la venda, lloguer i servei t\u00e8cnic de carretilles elevadores Nissan Forklift amb tallers a Lleida i Igualada.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019expansi\u00f3 de MT Trucks li ha perm\u00e8s <strong>doblar el nombre de treballadors<\/strong> en els darrers cinc anys, passant de les 50 persones el 2011 a les 100 previstes pel 2016. El nou centre de Figueres aportar\u00e0 entre 3 i 4 milions d\u2019euros a una <strong>facturaci\u00f3<\/strong> anual que supera els <strong>20 milions d\u2019euros<\/strong>. A banda de la venda de camions, l\u2019empresa es dedica a la reparaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquests i a la venda de recanvis.<\/p>\n<p>Tot i la caiguda de les vendes de camions des de 2009 i el descens del 45% en la xifra de reparacions, MT Trucks s\u2019ha sabut adaptar al nou context amb una gamma de vehicles amb preus amplis i competitius des dels 20.000 fins als 90.000 euros. Segons explica Antoni Esteve, conseller delegat de MT Trucks, <strong>\u201cestem molt satisfets de com hem pogut resistir la crisi i tamb\u00e9 d\u2019aportar oportunitats al nostre territori: gr\u00e0cies a la nostra activitat, en cinc anys haurem doblat el nombre de treballadors, passant de 50 persones a un centenar l\u2019any vinent\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La companyia de T\u00e0rrega ha aprofitat les caracter\u00edstiques del teixit empresarial lleidat\u00e0, on les firmes necessiten cobrir tots els processos de la cadena aliment\u00e0ria, per convertir-se en un referent en la venda i servei t\u00e8cnic al sector del transport per carretera. De fet, les estad\u00edstiques mostren que a Lleida s\u2019han matriculat la meitat de vehicles industrials pesats que a Barcelona entre el gener i l\u2019octubre d\u2019aquest any.<\/p>\n<p>MT Trucks es dedica des de fa 50 anys a la <strong>distribuci\u00f3, la reparaci\u00f3 i el lloguer de vehicles del sector industrial<\/strong>. Amb quatre centres (T\u00e0rrega, Lleida, Seu d\u2019Urgell i Figueres), ofereix un servei integral en aquest \u00e0mbit.
