Renault Trucks desvela los resultados de su veh\u00edculo laboratorio: Optifuel Lab 3. Este veh\u00edculo destinado a investigar en el segmento de la larga distancia ha registrado una reducci\u00f3n en el consumo de carburante de un 12,5 % en relaci\u00f3n a un convoy est\u00e1ndar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este resultado se ha conseguido gracias a una optimizaci\u00f3n en varias l\u00edneas de trabajo: la aerodin\u00e1mica del conjunto tractora-remolque, la cadena cinem\u00e1tica y los neum\u00e1ticos, as\u00ed como la integraci\u00f3n de funcionalidades predictivas adicionales de apoyo a la conducci\u00f3n eficiente y de gesti\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renault Trucks mantiene sus investigaciones para mejorar la eficacia energ\u00e9tica del conjunto tractora-remolque. Una muestra es el veh\u00edculo laboratorio Optifuel Lab 3<\/strong>, surgido en el marco del proyecto FALCON (Flexible & Aerodynamic truck for Low CONsumption) iniciado en el a\u00f1o 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tras un periodo de 18 meses de desarrollo, 6 meses de pruebas en pista y en carretera y 15.500 kil\u00f3metros recorridos, el fabricante franc\u00e9s ha notificado una reducci\u00f3n del consumo del 12,5 % en relaci\u00f3n al Renault Trucks T de serie, enganchado a un remolque est\u00e1ndar. Esto se traduce en un ahorro de 3,75 litros de carburante y 9,8 kg de CO2 a los 100 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25fc Ciclo de pruebas establecido<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los ingenieros de Renault Trucks han utilizado un ciclo de pruebas representativo del uso en grandes distancias, compuesto por 68 km en un entorno regional y 136 km en autopista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las pruebas con Optifuel Lab 3 se han realizado en pista cerrada y en carreteras, agregando simulaciones que han permitido analizar y correlacionar las medidas. De forma paralela, se realizaron las pruebas con un veh\u00edculo de referencia cuyas caracter\u00edsticas y cadena cinem\u00e1tica similar a las del veh\u00edculo laboratorio (Renault Trucks T480, equipado con un semirremolque cubierto con lona Fruehauf).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todas las tecnolog\u00edas desarrolladas en el marco del proyecto se evaluaron primero de forma independiente y, despu\u00e9s, globalmente. Previamente, se ajustaron las cadenas cinem\u00e1ticas de los camiones: el veh\u00edculo laboratorio Optifuel Lab 3, y el de referencia, para asegurar la representatividad de los dos veh\u00edculos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25fc M\u00e9todos de medida desarrollados<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluaci\u00f3n de la mejora aerodin\u00e1mica<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La evaluaci\u00f3n de la mejora en cuanto a la resistencia aerodin\u00e1mica se realiz\u00f3 utilizando el procedimiento de la reglamentaci\u00f3n oficial CO2. Se hicieron mediciones del par en la rueda a dos velocidades constantes: velocidad baja (~15 km\/h) y velocidad alta (~90 km\/h) respetando la secuencia de prueba definida por la Comisi\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se ha utilizado este procedimiento para evaluar la contribuci\u00f3n a la mejora aerodin\u00e1mica de la tractora solo, y luego del convoy completo Optifuel Lab 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La evaluaci\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo las mejoras en la resistencia aerodin\u00e1mica se traducen en ahorros de consumo de carburante, se llev\u00f3 a cabo seguidamente mediante simulaciones del ciclo representativo del cliente definido en el proyecto, antes de confirmarse mediante pruebas en carretera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahorros relacionados con los neum\u00e1ticos conectados de baja resistencia al rodamiento<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las mejoras de la resistencia al rodamiento de los neum\u00e1ticos desarrollados para Optifuel Lab 3 fueron<\/p>\n\n\n\n

medidas por Michelin <\/strong>(partner <\/em>del proyecto FALCON) siguiendo la norma ISO 28580. Se somete al<\/p>\n\n\n\n

neum\u00e1tico a una carga correspondiente al 85 % del \u00edndice de carga del neum\u00e1tico, en un rodillo de<\/p>\n\n\n\n

di\u00e1metro equivalente de 2 m y en un recinto con una temperatura mantenida a 25 \u00b0C. La resistencia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

generada por el neum\u00e1tico se mide a una velocidad de 80 km\/h tras 3 horas de aplicar un r\u00e9gimen t\u00e9rmico<\/p>\n\n\n\n

estabilizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cadena cinem\u00e1tica: ahorros relacionados con los lubricantes de baja viscosidad y el sistema de<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

recuperaci\u00f3n de calor Rankine<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lubricantes de baja viscosidad para el motor, la caja de cambios y el eje, desarrollados con Total <\/strong>(otro<\/p>\n\n\n\n

partner <\/em>en el proyecto FALCON), han permitido disminuir el consumo de carburante de la cadena<\/p>\n\n\n\n

cinem\u00e1tica. Los ahorros correspondientes se midieron en un banco de prueba de motores y en bancos de<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prueba de componentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paralelamente, se verific\u00f3 que estos lubricantes de nueva generaci\u00f3n no produjesen un desgaste<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prematuro de los componentes, utilizando especialmente la t\u00e9cnica de activaci\u00f3n de capas finas (Thin<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Layer Activation <\/em>– TLA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, respecto al sistema de recuperaci\u00f3n de calor Rankine, la evaluaci\u00f3n del ahorro de consumo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

de carburante se realiz\u00f3 en bancos de prueba de componentes, en cooperaci\u00f3n con la Universidad de<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lieja. Durante esta serie de pruebas se compararon dos arquitecturas diferentes (recuperaci\u00f3n en el<\/p>\n\n\n\n

escape y en el circuito de refrigeraci\u00f3n) y se evaluaron diferentes fluidos refrigerantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las funcionalidades predictivas de ayuda a una conducci\u00f3n m\u00e1s eficiente y de gesti\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda se<\/p>\n\n\n\n

evaluaron en condiciones reales de conducci\u00f3n con un ciclo representativo del cliente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las nuevas estrategias de control de velocidad adaptable optimizado que utilizan los datos de navegaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BeNomad, la estrategia de control inteligente del alternador, y los nuevos actuadores del sistema de<\/p>\n\n\n\n

refrigeraci\u00f3n, han podido probarse y compararse con las estrategias y actuadores utilizados por el veh\u00edculo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

de serie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto FALCON ha confirmado la pertinencia de las tecnolog\u00edas empleadas para alcanzar el objetivo de reducci\u00f3n de consumo. Los trabajos en un veh\u00edculo laboratorio permiten a Renault Trucks preparar las soluciones t\u00e9cnicas de sus futuros productos, especialmente a la hora de responder a las exigencias de las normativas europeas sobre las emisiones de CO2 de los camiones, las masas y dimensiones y los neum\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque el objetivo no sea comercializar el Optifuel Lab 3, tal cual, las tecnolog\u00edas m\u00e1s eficientes podr\u00edan integrarse en camiones de serie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
